Another exciting road trip to St. Louis done, I'm actually home for this weekend. Which is good, considering I feel awful and have either found some really nasty allergies to play with or have managed to catch cold. I'm not sure where I would get a cold. I am sure it did not come from sharing a meeting space with other geeks, though. :)
Work computer fixed so my IT frustrations are gone, for the moment. I did manage to break it again almost as soon as I started fiddling with it today, but the guy who fixed it the first time was able to help me out. So, functional. And as we all know, Julie is happiest when her geeky toys are in outstanding operating condition to play with.
Next week I'm in Columbia, if all goes well. Next weekend, I'll be in Marshall/Whiteman AFB until Saturday night. Then I think I may actually be in Springfield for a whole week.
I get lower braces on Monday, so next week will be a mostly liquid diet for me. Maybe they'll be good to go in time for steak in Columbia. It worked out well last time.
The only other news I have is I'm considering the whole MBA thing, and am very wishy washy about it. I am sure there is nothing wrong with MSU, but I did not enjoy the few weeks I went there in the fall. Dowling is offering classes at my workplace, which would be great, but they were so unimpressive I don't want my degree from there. Phoenix University has a campus here, and they seem professional; but they are very expensive and I'm not sure if a degree from there will have all the "oomph" I want for that kind of money. I guess I'll ponder on that for the rest of the week, and see what comes of it.
