Still sucking with the posts! How often do I have to post to not suck? Is there some sort of timeline I need to be following?
Anyway, since our last meeting here, I have ran off and joined the Kenpo Karate place I mentioned a few posts earlier. It is quite a bit of fun, good stress relief, and I am only a little worse for wear. There was a tiny moment of "What in the world have I gotten myself into" a few lessons ago, but I was able to quickly determine the answer was "contact sport." A few bruises later, and I now know which side of my forearm to block with (or more importantly, which area *not* to use).
I am also still busily planning the 2006 Missouri Wing Summer Encampment. I highly recommend the area "Information for Parents," as that's really the only area I've allowed for any sort of humor. I am a humorless Commandant of Cadets, it would appear.
Of course, the main site I maintain is still the Missouri Wing Cadet Programs site. Very soon I'll have to add a new staff member's bio and make up a nickname for him. Or use the one they give me. That's the problem with putting me in charge of the web page - Erica might tell me to make his nickname one thing, but she doesn't know how to change it. Fear not, though, since he's some sort of webmaster genius, I doubt I'll be doing anything too mean. To him, anyway. ;-)
If you've ever had any need or desire to see all the horrible events / natural disasters happening right now across the globe, then this link is for you. It shows biological hazards, epidemic hazards, floods, earthquakes, landslides, volcano activity, tornado reports, hail reports, aircraft crashes, etc. Good fun for the whole family!
Did you know aliens are abducting our cows so they can acquire milk? Strange, but there is a web site. They want us to know their side, so the aliens have their own version of the story here. An amusing set of ads. Got milk?
This weekend in St. Louis. Next week in Springfield. Next weekend I'm somewhere for a staff meeting for CAP (I have it somewhere, I just forgot). My life is a whirlwind of excitement.
