away away away

Long gap here. Last week my father had a quadruple bypass surgery, so I've been away. He's at home now, and so am I. I don't have anything exciting to say, but do have plenty of links built up.

Could You Pass 8th Grade Science? I can. I already did, of course. But on the quiz, I got an 8/8.

The dramatic "culture war" in America may be overblown. Surprise, surprise.

In this article, they attempt to use statistics to prove that explicit lyrics lead teens to have sex at a younger age. Apparently, it is beyond reason to think that perhaps teens who have sex at a younger age also happen to like explicit lyrics. Or, teens of parents who allow them to have sex at a younger age do not prohibit them from listening to explicit lyrics.

Of course, they can't be all bad. This rapper took his number one fan, who is also disabled, to prom.
