When I said I'd have pics up in September, I did not know that my modem would die and I would be without the internet for two weeks. It was awful! Then I had to reformat Thor this weekend (twice), so I lost most of the links I was going to share with you. Also awful!
But today I mowed and cleaned and took pics. They're large, so I'm linking to them instead of showing them all here.
EDIT - YAHOO SUCKS and you may not be able to view the pictures.

And because I do have some links, here they are!
Hello Sappy, can I get one last snowfall for someone?
If Sappy isn't your thing, how abuot a lego flamethrower?
And my final link is to a story from the UK. Think their version of a Medal of Honor, and this guy saved some Americans.

Julie,
Nice house. Toilets generally run by themselve because the float chain is set a hair to tightly, or there is debris (really debris, like from previous repairs or chipped porcelain- nothing nasty) blocking the tank drain.
How to fix.
1. remove tank lid
2. examine chain linkage leading from the handle. If it has no slack, let it out some until there is slack. pause; see if your toilet continues running on its own. There is nothing special about this chain, it can be extended with anything which can withstand a wet environment.
If it does continue running on its own.
3. lift up the plastic/rubber part which is closing the hole in the bottom of the tank ( your toilet will begin to flush when you do this)
4. sweep any debris aside from this hole's rim & feel for a lack of smoothness around the rim & the bottom of the part which normally plugs this hole.
5. If it feels like the parts cannot mate up and seal properly, prepare for an expensive repair.
