Greetings, blog world (which now includes my facebook). Someone told me this week they still look at my blog to catch up on me, so I thought I would update.

I had an MRI on my shoulder on Wednesday. The MRI itself was noisy, but otherwise okay. The hard part was the crazy position they put my arm in for the 25 minutes. Elbow down, wrist up, and with a weight on top! "Don't move, or it will mess up the test." Perhaps you should find a position that does not provoke involuntary twitching if you don't want someone to move...

I have been playing more Guild Wars. Let's see if I can find you a picture of my character... Ah, yes, there she is. "Geek Princess." All should fear me.

I have a pet, which I have renamed "Starbuck." My pet is very eager to kill things, which is a lot like my real life puppy. Last night was her first night sleeping outside the crate. It may be her last for a bit too, since she had a little accident in the corner.

Ah, but now onto the links!!

Google Finds ET

Livejournal sparks revolts! I find this interesting because it really is a nice example of stupidity in action. In an attempt to "protect the children," LiveJournal suspended about 500 journals that had listed interests in things such as "rape" and "incest." Sounds good, right? They failed to check each journal to ensure it was an actual criminal site. People who were rape victims that used their blogs to cope? Suspended. Discussion group on a book dealing with those subjects? Suspended. Oops. LJ has since apologized, but a lot of the paying customers are a bit annoyed.

But hey, life's not all bad! LOTR is so much better when done with muppets.

Bugs Bunny coming to the rescue of Taz
, literally.

John Wayne would have been 100
last weekend.

My name is kitten, and I am here to attack you
! Die, laptop, die! (video)

Tomorrow I officially give up my job as the DCP for MOWG, and move to the Springfield Regional Composite Squadron where I'll be the Finance officer and Assistant Leadership officer. I'm very happy!
